In May and June, 2000, we spent almost three weeks in Istanbul and Greece. First we were fascinated by the sights in Istanbul, especially the mosques. Then, after a couple days in Athens, we went with our painting group to the lovely islands of Santorini and Folegandros. With cobalt blue domes, doors, and windows, stark white walls, and colorful flowers, the scenery was striking. We hope you'll agree. To see the larger picture, just click on the thumbnail print.
